The special Prints in the Gallery exhibits from 12 January till 12 February contains two major prints from Sir William Russell Flint that are now on display. Left to right they are, Slipway, Devonport Shipyard and Gossipers at La Castellet. The former, painted in 1943 was bombed by the Nazi's two days after Flint had completed this composition. This print represents that last illustration of the shipyard structure.
