Birgit Rhode's beguiling watercolour composition Kamahi Leaf II, has been sold to a discerning local collector. The 3-D effect of this work has been noted by many, with some insisting that it was a real leaf behind the glass. The Botanica exhibition has been extremely well received. Even in these difficult unstable economic times, the Gallery has been able to sell over 60% of the paintings on show.
