From the Resident Artists' Gallery, Sandra Barlow's fine still life oil painting Mantel & Coal Bucket has been sold to a discerning local collector. The composition is noteworthy for is monochrome style that uses a novel floor-level perspective which in turn creates a dramatic 3-D effect with the mantel.
