Sandra Turner-Barlow sells Chiesa di San Bonaventura
Sold from the Design is Everything exhibition is Sandra Turner-Barlow's composition, Chiesa di San Bonaventura. The buyer was excited to see the painting as she was familiar with the stucture and it's distinctive design.
The church was built in 1675 for Cardinal Francesco Barberini and is dedicated to St Bonaventura de Bagnoreggio (1221-1275). It stands on Palatine Hill in Rome and is built on the site of a castellum or terminus of a branch of the Claudian Aqueduct. This acrylic composition indicates the longevity of structures that were built several centuries ago.
